Andrzej Lemiszewski

Andrzej Lemiszewski is a Polish-Danish sculptor, educated at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1975-82. His machine-like works often consist of unusual materials such as wood, rope and pieces of lead coupled with the classic marble and granite, creating contrasts in form and material. Moving to Italy in 1982, Lemiszewski has alternately worked Denmark and Italy. His powerful and at times monumental works have been exhibited throughout Europe.
