She studied at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and has received several scholarships throughout her career. With an ironic, sophisticated and distorted aesthetic, she makes the viewer reconsider the surrounding world and inner conceptions. She played an important role formulating “det vilde maleri” in the 1980s, taking part in the artistic movement labelled “De unge vilde”.
