Lars Nørgård

Lars Nørgård is educated at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. His paintings are expressive with an intense combination of colours, his drawings simple and cartoonish. In his works he illustrates a contradiction between the meaningful and the meaningless in our daily activities with a sense of humour. Nørgårds paintings decorate the Opera House in Copenhagen, and he is represented at ARoS Aarhus Museum of Modern Art, Statens Museum for Kunst and Design Museum Denmark among other places.
