Marco Evaristti
Marco Evaristti is known for his provocative art projects dealing with taboos. Evaristti studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and lives and works in Copenhagen and in Bangkok, Thailand. His works force the viewer to take a stand on serious issues concerning humanity, for instance one of his most famous projects is an installation named “Helena”, consisting of ten functional blenders containing living goldfish. His works are displayed at exhibitions all around the world. In Denmark, Evaristti’s works are included in the collections of Statens Museum for Kunst and Trapholt Museum of Modern Art.
