Steen Lundstrøm

Steen Lundstrøm is a visual artist educated at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1973. He has worked with several media, e.g. painting, graphics, collage and lately sculpture. In Lundstrøm’s paintings he works with the non-figurative expression, often dominated by large brushstrokes. The large brushstrokes, despite their dominating and rich character, contribute to accentuate other elements in the painting, for instance the lighter, more delicate elements, or literal pieces. Lundstrøm has both been displayed abroad and in Denmark. He is represented in Kobberstikssamlingen, Statens Museum for Kunst and Vejle Kunstmuseum.
