Subrata Kundu

Subrata Kundu was born in Kolkata in 1969, and obtained his BVA from the Government College of Art & Craft there in 1986. He went on to obtain an MFA from New Delhi in 1989. Kundu`s works reflect the artist`s postmodern sensibility and his feelings of frustration when faced with urban problems like overcrowding and the erosion of all our basic values. Subrata passed away on September 5, 2010
