Tomas Lahoda

Tomas Lahoda was born in Prague and studied at The Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Today he lives and works in Prague and Copenhagen. He creates series of psychedelic and distorted paintings that often deal with a certain concept, for instance he has created a term called “Ad Paintings” which deals with his own interpretation of the modern world that sets up dreams and expectations materialized through fashion accessories and advertisements. Lahoda has been teaching at The Academy of Fine Arts in Aarhus, Denmark and has contributed several decorative projects to Danish institutions. He is represented at Esbjerg Kunstmuseum and Sorø Kunstmuseum.
