IAM Partner Conference

At Saxo, we are focused on providing tech-driven, global multi-asset broker and custodian services. We aim to help you, as an independent asset manager, focus on creating a better financial future for your clients.

Following the migration last year and five months of working with new platforms, processes, and people, it’s time for discussions and review.

Kim Fournais
Founder and CEO

Kim Fournais is founder and CEO of Saxo Bank. He has steered Saxo Bank from an early online trading pioneer to a leading facilitator of global capital market access, servicing private and institutional clients.

As founder and CEO one of the main shareholders, Fournais today continues to head the bank he founded back in 1992. Saxo started its journey as a brokerage with Fournais and only a few employees, but quickly grasped the opportunities presented by the advent of the internet in the early 90s and launched its first online trading platform.

Today, the bank employs more than 2,500 people in financial centers around the world including London, Amsterdam, Singapore, Shanghai, Zürich, Dubai, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

From the outset, Fournais has focused on leveraging technology to allow Saxo to differentiate itself, leading Saxo to become a fintech before the term was even coined.

Ever since the first online trading platform was launched in 1998, the mission has been to get curious people invested in the world by giving them more ways to make more of their money.
