What documents are needed to open a trust account?

To open a trust account with Saxo, please provide us with a clear copy of the following documents:

  • Full trust deed, including any deed amendments (Including legal name of trust, registered address, country and date of establishment and purpose of trust)
  • Unique tax reference (UTR) for UK trusts
  • W-8BEN E form
  • VAT number (if applicable)
  • NACE code
  • CRS status form

If the trustee is a corporate entity, please send the following documents:

  • Memorandum and Articles of Association
  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Director and shareholder register (POI and POR from at least two directors)
  • Authorised signatory list (POI and POR from each authorised signatory)
  • NACE code

If the trustee is a regulated entity, please send the following documents:

  • Details and registration number with regulator
